So far I've worked up three of the animated .gif's into Flash files, in order to be able to add sound. I decided to use music from obsolete video games from the 1980's, as they provide an often jarring, repetitive sound, which is uncomfortable to listen to for an extended period, and hopefully adds to the unsettling atmosphere of the animations.
I then converted the pieces from Flash based .swf files to .mp4 in order to be able to upload them to YouTube. My intention for this work is to create a multimedia installation for my degree show, which combines a selection of my paintings, together with framed prints of the original collages used in producing the video work, with a video display of the best of the animations. Below are the three scored animations I have produced so far.
