I came across this guys Tumblr when I was looking for some images of urban decay, though the tragedy is the most abjected element in this particular district of New York are [some] of its residents. The descriptions Chris writes to contextualise his work are heartbreaking in the extreme. Most of all though this is a total inditement of the capitalist system, which has written off a whole section of the population.
